This concrete-framed four-story structure was built in 1925 as a single-room occupancy hotel. ERV acquired this historic property in the heart of the International District in 2008. The property was renovated in 2009 as the American Hotel, a hostel affiliated with Hostelling International. The American Hotel has 289 beds and 6 ground floor commercial tenants.
